Florence... the start of the Renaissance, the home of the Medici and Michelangelo, and the place to buy fine leather products. This ended up being a lot of people's favorite place, and I have to say that is was a unique experience.

| Views from the hill overlooking the city. These pictures don't quite capture the beauty. The city just stretches on, and then the mountains just rise up very suddenly. It's a spectacular view. |

| The basilica built with the funds from the Medici. It's the fourth largest in the world, and I don't think there's a word to describe how big it is when you're standing in front of it. I didn't even try to capture the whole think in one picture - there is just no point. |

The guys in our group wanted to get "manscarves" while in Florence, and they even convinced Dr. Moldenhauer to get one:
If you played a drinking game, taking a drink every time one of them said "manscarf," you could be drunk in about ten minutes.
