The Castle of Sao Jorge was only .2 miles away from my hotel, so I thought, "Cool! I'll go there! It should take ten minutes!" Yeah, it took over an hour. Part of the reason was that the roads were twisty and turning and all up hill, and part of it was that it was so hot that I had to stop every few minutes for water or ice cream. When I finally made it to the top, the first sign I saw said something along the lines of, "The Castle of Saint George is located in the least accessible part of the city." No way!
